EYE results, 32 levels reduced to 16 levels for the LCD screen.

SO>>> the LCD screen is 160x128, so some of it is not used. Movie updates are about 8 per second.. only EYE number 1 is shown. The text is my diagnostic readout.

The actual pixels are read using the amplifier on the Stonyman at max gain. The PHI times are 1us high/2.5us low (before A/D). The A/D is 8 bits 450ns at 2volt ref, so 32 to 48 levels can be sensed. The white screen compensation and black screen gain compensation are both needed.

Note that the resistor to ground on each EYE output is needed to equalize the gain difference between the two eyes. In this way, I can parallel all of the control lines to each eye. One eye is using 15K ohms, the other 2200 ohms to provide the same output levels.

The 128Kx8 MRAM on my board is beautiful, works at almost max speed and remembers everything with the power off. Unfortunately, it is now obsolete. All that are available now are 256K, 512K etc. Reminds me of the old 32K Eproms. I have run out of cpu pins.

It is interesting you used two different resistors to equalize the values. That would work, but as the resistance gets lower so could the gain. Have you tried adding a constant offset to the values from one chip?
